Her infectious enthusiasm, love for the outdoors, and super-energetic cockapoo sidekick make Caron a valuable addition to our dynamic team.

Hi Caron, it’s great to have you on board!

Can you start by telling us a little bit about yourself and some of the previous account management roles you’ve had?

I’m Caron. I live in Bedfordshire with my husband and soon-to-be teenage son.

I luckily found my first job in the Promotional Industry 20 years ago, after working in several industries, from Electrical Components to Swimming Accessories.

Since working in the Promotional Industry, I’ve had the privilege to travel overseas and work with lots of exciting and creative brands.

It’s a fast-moving industry where no day is the same, and there’s never any chance of boredom!

So, what brought you to A.D.?

Fate! I’ve known Amo for many years, from working together previously many moons ago.

I received a lucky phone call one day to tell me that A.D. was looking for an Account Manager, so there was no doubt in my mind that I had to apply.

What excites you most about joining our team?

Being back with so many familiar faces in the team and becoming part of the A.D. Family.

I’m excited about being a part of A.D.’s ESG journey, helping the company achieve its goals, and being an ambassador for a sustainable future.

What motivates you?

It would have to be seeing a project through from the initial concept to the end product. It’s a great achievement to know that you’ve created something the client loves to help promote their brand.

How will you support and inspire our customers?

Listening and gaining an understanding of each client’s individual briefs.

Communication is also vital in ensuring that my clients are continuously updated throughout the different stages of a project. I’d like to think that I become an extension of their team.

What are your top 3 favourite sustainable products?

The Circular Reusable Coffee Cup – I love that it has a complete 360-degree drinking area, is entirely leakproof, and is made from waste washed up along the Cornish coastline!

The Impact Aware recycled Cotton Shopper comes in a range of lovely colours and is essential for those retail therapy sessions.

The Recycled Spork – it’s a great addition to my son’s school lunchbox, I pop it in there every day!

What makes a great team for you?

Working with people that all have the same ultimate goal but all have their own personalities and characteristics to get there.  

Sharing experiences and knowledge with the team enhances your way of working, and it’s reassuring to know that you’re not alone!

What are your passions outside of work? 

I love being active. I enjoy running and have completed many races, including a marathon or two. I’m a qualified PT as well as a gym instructor, and I used to teach spin classes.  

Although I don’t teach now, I attend classes as regularly as I can!

I love the outdoors, walking and mountain biking and any chance I get, I’ll be in Cornwall enjoying the waves and paddleboarding on calmer days.

We’re a team of animal lovers here at A.D., do you have any pets? 

Yes, I have a gorgeous cockapoo called Max! He’s my shadow and home office buddy too. I don’t know what I’d do without him!

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why? 

Teleportation – to cut out the time it takes to travel anywhere would be amazing.  

I can just think of the destination, click my fingers, and I’m there! That would be cool.

Tea, coffee or both? 

I love both, as long as there’s no milk!
