How do you help customers with warehousing, distribution, logistics and fulfilment?
We offer flexible solutions to customers who need support with holding and storing products for distribution and delivery. We specialise in the following:
Warehousing: We can organise and hold merchandise easily, making our warehousing service ideal for facilitating webstore schemes and retail campaigns for major brands. We give businesses quick and easy access to branded goods for quick and easy call-off.
Distribution: If you need a greener way to distribute your merchandise around the UK, to Europe or to global destinations, we can help! We have green logistics and verified carbon offsetting on our UPS account. We have also implemented carbon calculations for our sea freight movements to help give you complete transparency on your carbon footprint!
Logistics: We can ship and deliver merchandise with duties paid globally. Some countries that come under this include the United Kingdom, Europe, the US, China, Asia, Australia, Japan and South Africa, to name a few.
Fulfilment: We specialise in order fulfilment and co-pack requirements for businesses of all sizes. Our projects include new starter packs, long service awards, goodie bags for occasions such as expos and promo events, membership packs and even subscription services!
What processes are involved in fulfilment and warehousing?
Our onboarding process is vital to understanding your campaign aims and objectives.
Consideration is given to your warehouse and picking requirements, such as the palette space needed, delivery deadlines, and whether coordinated deliveries need to take place to support new product launches or desk drops across multiple locations and countries.
We also consider whether perishable goods are included, such as confectionery items with a limited shelf life.
Here are some other processes we take with fulfilment and distribution…
Goods in, orders out: The first step is receiving and storing incoming merchandise with our flexible warehousing services and then getting it ready to head out the door when orders come in.
Pick and pack: Once orders are received, it’s time to pick and pack the products and ensure they’re packed safely for their journey to the customer.
Shipping: We’ll help you find the most cost-effective and sustainable way to deliver your goods, whether by truck, ship or plane.
Tracking: Keeping track of all the products as they move from the warehouse to the customer is crucial. This includes monitoring inventory levels, order fulfilment, and delivery status.
Returns and responsible recycling: Sometimes, products need to come back to the warehouse. This is where the process of returns and recycling comes in, ensuring that the returned products are either restocked or disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
Data management: Keeping all the data in one place and making sense of it is vital to a successful warehouse and fulfilment operation. This includes everything from inventory levels and order fulfilment rates to delivery times and customer satisfaction scores.
How big is your facility?
Our main merchandise facility and warehousing fulfilment distribution solutions centre is based in Chorley, Lancashire, boasts 60,000sq ft of space.
The warehouse has 6,500 racked pallet bays and 15,000 picking locations, meaning we have plenty of space to store many products.
On average, we service between 500 & 750 orders daily, with 80% of orders distributed throughout the UK and 20% going to the EU & Rest Of the World (ROW).
Our facilities are located on a secure, self-contained site, with gated security and close to excellent transport links, with the M61 and M6 within easy reach.
Do you have multiple warehouse locations?
Yes, we have multiple warehouse locations in the UK. In addition to our main facility in Chorley, we also partner with warehouses in other areas, such as Rochdale and Blackburn, with storage and promotional fulfilment services available in those locations too!
Why should your customers use your warehousing and distribution services?
Our head facility is a UKWA member (United Kingdom Warehousing Association). They help them operate safely, ethically and profitably, safeguarding industry standards and ensuring that their views are represented clearly and effectively to the government.
Our flexible warehousing facilities use an integrated warehouse management system via an application programming interface. This defines how the two communicate using requests and responses, meaning communication is optimised, resulting in fewer errors!
The application integration can link directly to B2B & B2C platforms such as Weebly, Squarespace and Magento. Our warehouse manual ensures robust procedures for goods in quality control checks, storage and picking products, packs, cartons or pallets.
Distribution is then handled by Royal Mail & DPD for reliable domestic deliveries. We also work with a trusted forwarding partner for EU & ROW imports and exports, so you know your products will be delivered as promised!
