Doing business the right way

We care about accountability and transparency

As part of our ESG journey, it’s important that we adhere to a set of practices, policies, and structures to ensure we remain ethical, accountable, transparent and compliant.
We’re open and honest and will continue to share information on how our business is evolving on our journey to becoming a Net Zero organisation.

By being accountable and transparent, we’re showing our partners, customers, community and team that we’re committed to driving real change and creating a better world for future generations.

Team collaborating

We do this through:

  • Accreditations and industry memberships

  • Upholding codes of conduct

  • Publishing results

  • Seeking independent support

Demonstrating our commitment to doing what’s right

Accountability is powerful and we want to show our customers, partners, stakeholders and industry that we’re committed to doing what’s right.

We hold both ISO 9001/2015 and ISO 14001/2015 accreditations; this means we adhere to specific frameworks that ensure we deliver products and services to regulatory standards and manage the environmental impact and sustainability goals of our business.

We’re also proud members of, and hold Charter Distributor status with the BPMA, a trusted brand that has been providing guidance and support to the promotional merchandise industry and helping businesses remain compliant for more than 50 years.

Holding our supply chain accountable

For A.D. to be successful in achieving our sustainability goals, it’s crucial that we work with a supply chain network that is just as committed to change as we are.

We select our partners very carefully, so to ensure our entire supply chain upholds our corporate sustainability and social responsibility standards, we ask all suppliers to adhere to a strict code of conduct.

Aspects of our code of conduct relate to:
Working and employment standards – ensuring the human rights of teams are protected at all times
Zero tolerance of modern slavery, human trafficking or child labour
Clear demonstration of health and safety throughout all aspects of production and delivery
Robust environmental strategies that show how they’re improving energy and water consumption, air quality and chemical management

We conduct factory audits to ensure partners do what they promise and offer support and guidance in areas where they need help.

Disclosing our environmental impact

With the help of a specialist sustainability consultant, we calculated our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions for 2022 using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard and are proud to say that we are now a carbon-neutral company.

Our total carbon footprint for the 2022/23 was 706.052 tCO2e.

During 2022/23 we also funded a range of Greenify® projects totalling 724.8 tCO2e in verified carbon credits, effectively offsetting 2.7% more emissions than we measured.

Our logistics partner, UPS, has also helped us to offset over 5.65 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions across 1.3k shipments.

Transparency is crucial in demonstrating our commitment to tracking measurable environmental action, which is why we chose to disclose our results through CDP.

We are proud to be among 23,000+ companies that have committed to environmental transparency and will continue to disclose our improvements as we progress on our journey to become a Net Zero business.

Working with partners to achieve B-Corp status

We’re on a journey to gaining B Corporation Certification, so to get us there and to help us stay on the most progressive path, we’re working with partners including specialist sustainability consultants and Greenify®.

From 2024, we will expand this to improve our carbon rating and reporting further. We look forward to sharing these results in the near future!
