Quickfire Q&A with Leah!
It’s time for another Quickfire Q&A, and this time we’re meeting our new marketing expert, Leah!
Leah joined our team earlier this year has already jumped into delivering some exciting campaigns to raise our brand profile.
So, grab a brew, take five and meet Leah…

Hi Leah! For those who don’t know you, can you tell them a little bit about what you do here at A.D.?
So I joined the team earlier this year as the Senior Marketing Executive, and I look after all things marketing, from socials and website updates to events, campaigns and content. My main goal is to increase A.D.’s brand visibility, support lead generation and help drive the company’s wider growth plans.
I’ve only been here a short time, but what I enjoy most about working here is definitely the people. Everyone has been so welcoming and it already feels like I’ve been here much longer – I genuinely enjoy coming into the office and being part of the team.
What was your first job?
My first job was working as a nanny while I was at university. A lot of my friends were working in retail at the time, but I knew that wasn’t really for me, so I decided to do something a bit different.
I looked after the children for two years, and we became so close that I still go and see them every other weekend. I call them my second family. I don’t have any siblings, so they really do feel like little sisters to me.
What energises you at work?
Creativity and communication. I love bouncing ideas around with the team, building on each other’s thoughts and turning those ideas into something that feels exciting, useful and genuinely makes an impact.
Best movie?
Holes. I studied the book in primary school, so I know it through every possible literary/analysis angle, but now, when I watch the film, it just feels so nostalgic and comforting. It’s one of those films that instantly makes me happy.
If you could play one character in TV or Film, who would it be and why?
Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place, without a doubt. She was sarcastic, funny and confident.
I definitely wanted to be her growing up (and still do).
Best Hero?
Spider-Man, but more specifically, Andrew Garfield. For me, he was the best version because he balanced Peter Parker’s awkwardness with so much raw emotional depth. His heartbreak, guilt and redemption made him feel like the most authentic and dynamic Spider-Man. He brought real heart to the role, and his on-screen chemistry with Gwen was honestly heart-wrenching.
Best holiday destination?
Mauritius. The beaches and natural scenery were unbelievably beautiful, but what made it even more special was how warm and welcoming the people were.
I went snorkelling every day for hours, to the point where my parents started getting worried because I’d been in the water for so long.
The food was so fresh, the pace of life felt peaceful, and the whole island just had this calm, beautiful energy. Honestly, island life is exactly what I picture for myself when I’m older and retired.
Thanks Leah! We look forward to getting to know you more over the next few months!
