Quickfire Q&A with Nathan!

It’s time for another Quickfire Q&A, and this time we’re meeting our Junior Project Executive – Nathan! 

Nathan joined us two years ago on our apprenticeship scheme, and since passing his apprenticeship, he’s moved into a junior role in our sales team and has been learning all about what it means to support our customers on their branding solutions journeys. 

Grab a brew and settle down for 5 as we take the time to meet, Nathan! 

Hi Nathan! For those who don’t know you, can you tell them a little bit about what you do here at A.D.? 

After passing my apprenticeship, I was given the chance to join the sales team, and I love it. I shadow senior team members and learn all about helping our customers find the perfect branded solutions for their businesses. 

I really enjoy the process of finding the right product and helping our clients see how their ideas can come to life. 

What was your first job?

This is my first proper job, but I guess selling shoes online counts! I am a self-confessed sneakerhead, so I look out for trending designs, snap them up and sell them on. 

What energises you at work? 

Seeing results. The team works together, it’s a very collaborative environment, so it’s great to see how enquiries turn into ideas and ideas turn into cool products. When the clients love what we do, we know we’ve done a great job. 

If you could have a dream job other than working at A.D., what would it be?

I’d be a Football Manager. My dream would be to lead Manchester United back to being the best team in the league.

What’s your guilty pleasure TV? 

Love Island! 

Best movie? 

The Karate Kid. It’s brilliant. 

Best TV? 

EastEnders. It’s an old classic. Brings me back down to earth after the escapism of Love Island! 

If you could play one character in TV or Film, who would it be and why? 

John Kirkman from Designated Survivor. 

Best Hero?

Ole Gunnar Solskjær – absolute legend! 

Best Villain? 

Darth Vader. Hands down. 

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Not sure it’d be great to eat forever or probably the healthiest, but Chicken Burgers.

Best holiday destination?

Italy. And you can always guarantee the will be incredible. 

If you won 10 million pounds, what would you do?

I wouldn’t tell anyone! Otherwise, everyone would want something, so I’m keeping it all to myself! 

Top 3 dinner party guests and why? 

Barack Obama and John F Kennedy because I’d love to have an insight into what goes on in the White House. But my top guest would have to be the great Sir Alex Ferguson! 

Sir Alex is the greatest manager of all time, and I would love to be in his company and hear all of his incredible stories, I bet they’d be fascinating!   

If you could have a superpower for one day, what would it be? 

Probably time travel. And the first trip I would take is back to 1999 so I could watch the Champions League final live! 

If I were invisible, I would… 

Trip people up, haha! Everyone would be so confused! It would be really funny!

What would the title of your autobiography be?

The Long and Winding Road: My Journey Through Life So Far…
